- 1. When should I make My reservations?
In both Alaska and California prime fishing
dates can go quickly, I recommend
making your reservation as soon as possible to insure that you get to go fishing
with me when your vacation dates or time off of work allows you to.
2. Can I bring my own equipment?
- Yes! If you have a favorite rod and reel you are
more than welcome to bring it. If it is not suitable for our fishing, I will let you know.
I supply all new top quality gear and tackle. so if yours wont work you can use mine.
3. How many
people can fish in your boats?
In Alaska, I can fish a
maximum of four in my drift boat and four in my power boat. In California, I can
fish a maximum of three.
4. What kind of clothes
should I bring?
You should always bring more
clothes than you need! This means lots of layers, it can get cold out on the water. All
boats have plenty of dry storage, so you have room to take off lots of layers. Remember
you are better off being to warm then cold.
5. Is there lodging facilities?
Yes! In both Alaska and
California we have lodging facilities. In Alaska there are variety of different places to
stay lodges, hotels or cabins. In California everyone stays at the resort on the river
next to my office.
6. Do I need a car?
Yes! In both Alaska and
California there is too much to see not to have a vehicle to get around in. The
scenery in both places is spectacular.
7. Are there other
things to do in the area?
Yes! In both places
there is a variety of things to do: Gift shopping, Hiking, Sight Seeing, and lots of fine
sea-food dining establishments
8. What do I do with the
fish once I've caught them?
In both Alaska and
California, I clean your catch. After that processing is available. You can get your fish
fillet and vacuum packed for shipping home. I recommend that you bring a large ice chest
so you can keep your catch cold or frozen for your flight or drive home. If you do not
wish to keep your catch vacuum packed you may use good zip lock freezer bags to process
your own. Freezer storage is available in both Alaska and California.
